Mereka pulang sebelum senja.

Pencarian gagal hingga menelan masa satu minggu.

Bachelor's Grove Cemetery, Midlothian, IL | Haunted Places

The Bachelor's Grove Cemetery was empty when this photo was taken (the woman appeared only after the photo was developed).

This 1800s-era cemetery has been largely abandoned since 1965, and since then has fallen victim to vandals. Among the toppled tombstones it is said that satanic and occultist groups perform ceremonies, and over 100 reports of strange phenomena have been collected.

Among them, ghost lights, inexplicable lights and voices, apparitions, strange photos, anomalous recordings and sightings of unbelievable creatures. There is also a nearby haunted lagoon, a phantom farmhouse and a stretch of haunted turnpike near Bachelor's Grove.

A man helping ready a home for the rental market found two tombstones

TRIANGLE -- A man helping ready a home for the rental market found two tombstones in its basement Wednesday.

Tombstones found in basement of N.Va. house

Prince William police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez shows the pair of tombstones that were found in the basement of a rental property in Triangle, VA.

For a week, Edward Grogg had been doing work at a one-story home on Triangle Street, helping landlord Elliot Diamond get the 60-year-old house ready to be rented again, after two tenants abruptly left with little notice a few weeks ago.
While in the basement, Grogg said he saw slabs of concrete lying on the floor.
"When I picked them up I could feel the grooves, so I took them and turned them around, leaned them against the wall and then I realized they were real tombstones," said Grogg. "I don't believe in ghosts, but I was kind of spooked."
According to Grogg, the tombstone discovery is the latest in a series of eerie events in the house, including a light bulb that inexplicably turned on while power was shut off.
The headstones of Mary J. Fitton, alive between 1880 and 1935, and David M. Ingram, alive between 1957 and 1980, are now in a police evidence room in Woodbridge. Grogg called authorities on Diamond's advice and reported what he had found.
Prince William County library historian Don Wilson said a check of local records show that Fitton lived with her husband, Hanson Fitton, on Saint Asaph Street in Alexandria before her death on Oct. 6, 1935. Social Security death records show that Ingram lived in Washington in 1971.
Wilson said both people could be buried in Alexandria, and that their headstones could have been stolen or replaced.
"Usually, when we find a tombstone in Prince William County, it has been removed from a grave site and replaced with a new one, after the stone begins to show wear," he said.
Investigators are trying to find out how the stones got to the house.
Diamond bought the house as an investment property in 2003 and said his last tenants were a man and a woman who argued frequently. He said the man left without notice, and the woman weeks later surrendered the key to the house, leaving no contact information behind.
"The headstones weren't there when I was in the basement about a year ago," said Diamond. "The police are going to have to track down where these guys went and ask them about it if they are going to find out who they belong to."
While Diamond said he doesn't know about any paranormal activity in his house, Grogg said earlier tenants moved out because they heard strange voices, doors slamming and footsteps on the wooden floors where no one was walking.

What's your favorite scary ghost story? There are a lot of movies out there but not enough ghost stories I tell ya. This got me thinking about real life ghost stories. I mean accounts of happenings. There have been a lot of unsolved cases that dealt with the supernatural really. Nobody knows about them but they're out there. That's the sort of stuff the "X-Files" are made of. I still wonder if that kind of division really exists. If so then that show would make more sense. Think about it though, to even make a show like that there must be real life accounts inspiring the cases in such shows. They're the cases you never hear about or see in the paper. I don't doubt for a second that there might be unexplainable cases out there. I used to think that all ghosts were simply made up in people's heads as they go mad, but now I'm not so sure anymore. They can't all be cases of people going insane right? Right. So I'm willing to keep an open mind. The problem is to believe in these sort of things you wish you had proof. I've seen some strange things in my time but never ghosts. Right now I can't say I totally believe in ghosts but I can believe in unexplainable events. Which, when you think about it, is sort of hypocritical isn't it?

Strange images in the mirror at the Myrtles Plantation (photo taken by a guest).

Now a bed-and-breakfast, the Myrtles Plantation is said to house many ghosts and spirits due to 10 murders and 1 suicide that have occurred there since it was built in 1796. Among them are the ghosts of Cleo, a former slave who was hung for poisoning two little girls, the ghosts of the little girls, and William Winter, a former owner who was shot on the front porch.

Other apparitions seen by visitors include ghosts from the slave graveyard on the property, and a ghost that meets guests at the inn's gate and says the plantation is closed. A psychic who visited the building said visiting the parlor was like walking into a "crowded cocktail party of spirits," while the owner of the bed-and-breakfast said the ghosts have proven to her that there's life after death.

Members of the Cheshire Paranormal Society took this fantastic picture on Packhorse Bridge, Caergwrle, Wales. Although this was just a random shot, orbs had been captured by the group already and several members felt uneasy at the time. It's believed a number of ghosts haunt this bridge possibly in connection with a former burial ground nearby, for which the bridge was the entrance. Very Spooky!

Thorpe-Park_Fright_nite
Spooked ... Thorpe Park
THORPE PARK

SPOOKED bosses at a theme park have suspended six members of staff and called in an exorcist after a late night seance on their top horror ride sparked a string of ghostly happenings.

The workers at Thorpe Parke carried out a Ouija board session on the horror themed rollercoaster SAW - The Ride after the opening night of their creepy Halloween themed “Fright Nights”.
The group chose the park’s newest ride, which boasts gruesome features mimicking the sinister torture scenarios from the grisly film SAW, as the scariest place in the park to hold it.
But bosses didn’t see the funny side when they heard staff had tried to communicate with the spirit world through a talking board which has been blamed for subsequent paranormal going-ons.
ch
A Thorpe Park insider said: "Guests started to report an extreme drop in temperature when they walked into the ride building where the seance was held and others unusual happenings.
“Lights started to go on and off with no explanation and the special effects would start up even after being switched off and there were reports of footsteps with nobody there.
“Doors could be heard banging and it was then news of the Ouija board session came out and the members of staff responsible have been spoken to and suspended from work.”
Thorpe Park in Surrey has now called in Rev Lionel Fanthorpe, the UK’s leading authority on the unexplained, who is currently examining the ride for evidence of paranormal activity.
He says if he finds any signs of spirits “crossing over from the other side” he will carry out an exorcism.
Rev Fanthorpe said: "Many people believe that the Ouija board is just a game but its power should never be underestimated as it may be a very dangerous tool if not used properly.
“It opens a gateway to another dimension and when people who are not experienced spiritualists play with Ouija boards, mischievous entities can get through as may have happened here.
“If there is something causing fear and bewilderment at Thorpe Park then I will take care of it and if deemed necessary I will carry out an exorcism to remove any mishievous spirits”.
The source added: "It was a pretty strange sight to see a priest walking around Saw - The Ride holding a bible in one hand and a crucifix in the other - he looked like a part of the attraction!”
A Thorpe Park spokesman said: "On the evening of Monday October 12 an unauthorised Ouija Board session was conducted by six employees at SAW - The Ride after we closed to the public. mpu
“A full investigation is under way and the six employees have been suspended pending the outcome of this enquiry.
“We take staff and guest feedback very seriously and for this reason we called in Rev Lionel Fanthorpe, a leading paranormal expert, to help us investigate reports that have arisen from this situation.
“The ride has not been closed down and the Halloween Fright Nights are continuing as normal.”
Saw - The Ride cost £13.5million and opened in March this year and is a custom Euro-Fighter roller coaster that takes riders round a horror themed track at speeds of 55mph experiencing nearly 5g forces.

Kami tersenyum puas.

“Apalah kau ni Man. Sebut ‘datuk’ (harimau) pulak. Bila dia datang, semua lari tak cukup tanah,” kata penulis.

Pusingan pertama kami berjaya menaikkan empat ekor siakap mereka bersaiz sederhana.
Sehingga jam 9 malam, semuanya sunyi. Tiada lagi aksi tadi dan anak ikan menghilangkan diri. Sambil merebahkan badan, penulis menyalakan rokok.

“Tak ada apalah Man. Agaknya bau sampah.

“Man! Kejutkan Jeri. Kemaskan barang,” penulis memberi arahan.

“Man! Jangan berpecah dari aku. Jalan seiring, jangan pandang atas, dia memang ada,” penulis mengingatkan rakan lain.

“Macam mana ni? Aku rasa dia marah kat engkau. Tadi kau cabar dia,” Man mengeluh.

Wallahualam.
