Basement Terrors (Freaky, but true story)
Source - total_believer's Full Review: Ouija Boar@ Epinion.com
Well...I decided to borrow this game from my cousin, this experience happened on this day. My dad and I were messin' around with the Ouija board, just jokin' around and stuff. It started to spell out nonsense. I realized neither of us were moving the pointer, properly known as the planchette. We both decided to take the board to the dusty old basement.
It's just like one of those scary, cluttered basements you see on horror movies. We placed an old weight bench in the corner of the basement, shut off the lights, leaving no illumination whatsoever. Both of us began to feel a slight chill in the air. A bit of light began to show on the cobweb covered walls, which didn't really catch my attention until I reviewed the events in my mind. We started the game, yet again, it spelled out nonsense. All of a sudden, the planchette dragged to the middle of the board and spelled out a name. Excitement and fear shot through me, as it spelled out the name...Stacey...Me and my dad jumped in our seats, but our curious minds kept us from leaving that dark place.
We began to ask some questions. "Are you evil?" Our response was quite fast, NO. Only my dad would think to ask this..."Are you pretty?" The planchette moved even faster this time, YES was the answer. Something triggered my dad to bump his eye on the weight bench, "Oww," my dad instantly shouted while still keeping two fingers on, "Stupid bench!" S-R-R-Y, the board replied (the vowels didn't always show in words). By this time, I knew that "Stacey" could heard and see us..."Where are you?" H-E-R-E...This time...We really got freaked...
We asked the spirit, Stacey, how she died. She immediately answered, without hesitation, almost as if it was reading our minds. C-A-R..."You've gotta be kiddin' me." My dad said in fear. I was ready to jump up and run up those creaky steps, but I was just too into it...The planchette practically jumped up, our fingers struggled to stay on as it moved quickly over the letters L-C-F-R...I quickly thought...Lucifer..
Me and dad decided to take a quick break, grab a drink, take a leak...the usual stuff. Then we went back to the dreaded basement. We placed our fingers back on the planchette, and it slowly started to move again. L-A-U-R-A it spelled. I asked my dad if he knew any Laura, and he said yeah, but it's probably not her. My dad slowly asked, "Are you Laura Kennison?" YES...."Can you tell us anything to signify that you really are her?" The planchette moved slowly over the letters E-G-G-N-O-G....I kept on thinking it over in my head.."Eggnog, eggnog, eggnog..." "Hey dad...Does this mean anything to you?" My dad was practically froze in fear...He spoke softly.."Yeah...It was what we drank on our last date..."
Dad started gettin' all emotional (no tears...he's not that much of a softie). "Laura...I really miss you, and wish you were here...I really liked you, and had the biggest crush on you..I know that your father killed you with a gun, and shortly after...Burned down your house..I sadly heard, but I hope you are happy where you are." The pointer moved a bit...YES. I was slightly touched, but also a bit afraid...I've never contacted the dead before, so i was pretty scared. I-LOVE-YOU was spelled out. By this time, I had no doubt that there was heaven, hell, ghosts...or whatever...Anything..is possible...This true story won't end as happy is you would hope though..."Do you know Stacey?" My dad asked. YES...But the pointer continued to move...BAD was spelled out...I was terrified. I could barely sit in my chair.
My dad continued to ask questions. "Are we safe down here?" NO. "Are there any evil spirits down here?" YES....DEVIL..Our conversation grew deeper and scarier with each question. We asked one more.."Should we leave?" YES...At this question, I could have sworn that I saw something move. We both got up, grabbed the flashlight, and ran for the door. As I saw my dad coming up the steps, I was pretty sure I saw a pair of red eyes behind him.
In the end...I do officially believe in ghosts now. I had a bit of experiences before that I wasn't sure about, but this was real...I swear to it to. The Ouija Board does work...I don't know if you need to have any supernatural powers, or possess psychic energy, but I know it worked for me and my dad...In the basement of our house....I don't recommend this product for the light-hearted...but for those of you...Who really want to know what's out there...Try it out...But be cautious, this stuff is no joke.
This product requires little assembly, two or more people to play (I think it works best with two people, but it does work with three). The game is easy to play, all you need is to believe. Don't cheat by moving the planchette, it ruins everyone's fun. It's okay to move it, if you have an intention of telling the person afterwards. Extremely dark or very dimly lit rooms work best. Placing candles besides you and your friends works well for contacting spirits. But be warned, almost everything you contact is evil, the spirits are known to play tricks upon you. I advise you not to look around the room while playing.....

Lembaga seperti pelajar di Hutan Royal Belum
» Misteri
Setelah taklimat ringkas, pelajar memasuki khemah masing-masing.
Sebelah siang hari kedua dipenuhi pelbagai aktiviti berpasukan selain beberapa ceramah motivasi supaya cintakan pelajaran.
Akhirnya dua pelajar dipilih.

The Himuro Mansion Haunting
The Himuro Mansion Haunting

According to urban legend, lying just beyond the city of Tokyo is one of the most haunted locations in all of Japan. The exact location of the Himuro Mansion (or Himikyru Mansion as it is sometimes known) is widely unknown but the legend puts the mansion in a rocky region just beyond the city limits of Tokyo.
The most popular version of the tale states that bad karma would emerge each December (other versions simply say “toward the end of the year”) from a portal on the Mansions grounds. In order to prevent this, a maiden was chosen at birth by the master of the household and isolated from the outside world in order to prevent her from developing any ties to the outside world, which would in turn, jeopardize the effect of the ritual.
On the day of the Strangling Ritual, the maiden was bound by ropes on her ankles, wrists, and neck. The ropes were attached to teams of oxen or horses to rip her limbs from her body, quartering her. The ropes used to bind her appendages would then be soaked in her blood and laid over the gateway of the portal. They believed that this would seal off the portal for another half century until the ritual had to be repeated.
During the last recorded Strangling Ritual it is said that the maiden had fallen in love with a man who tried to save her from the ritual. This “tie” to Earth tainted her blood and spirit and ruined the ritual altogether. Upon learning of the maidens love, the master took up his sword and brutally murdered all of his family members, before finally, in fear of what would soon happen, fell upon his own blade.
This is the basis of the “haunting” of the Himuro Mansion. Local legend has it that these souls of the murdered family wander the mansion attempting to repeat the failed ritual using whomever enters the abandoned building. Blood splashes on the walls are reportedly seen, as if they were flicked from the blade of a sword that had recently sliced through flesh. Many have reported seeing spirits and apparitions dressed completely in white, rinsing cloths and preparing the grounds for the ritual.
Interest in the Himuro Mansion has peaked due to it’s inclusion into the back story of the popular game, Fatal Frame. Here is a quote from Makoto Shibata, Chief Producer of Fatal Frame, regarding the legend:
“In an area outside Tokyo, there lies a mansion in which it’s said seven people were murdered in a grisly manner. On the same property, there lie three detached residences that surround the mansion, all of which are rumored to have ties to the mansion’s troubled past. It’s said there is an underground network of tunnels that lay beneath the premises, but nobody knows who made these tunnels or what purpose they served. Many inexplicable phenomenons have been reported occurring on the property. Bloody handprints have been found splattered all over the walls. Spirits have been spotted on the premises… even in broad daylight. A narrow stairway leads to an attic where a spirit-sealed talisman is rumored to be locked away. Men have sought this talisman, only to be found later with their bodies broken and rope marks around their wrists. There’s a crumbling old statue of a woman in a kimono, but its head is missing. If you take a photo of a certain window, a young girl can be seen in the developed picture. These incidents have provoked fear in the people of Tokyo, and many believe that those who live near this area will become cursed. The deaths of those seven people are unexplained to this day.”
Now, the question is, did any of this really happen? Probably not. The core allure of this legend is also it’s silver bullet. If such a grisly murder did occur (sources put this between 30 and 80 years ago) in such recent times, where is the record?
It is highly unlikely that no police station or newspaper have records of this mass murder taking place just outside of Tokyo.
Regarding the mystery of the location, some believers have offered the notion that the Himuro family has once again taken ownership of the mansion and is currently living there.. but that conflicts with the legend in that all family members were supposedly murdered AND the “firsthand accounts” of events witnessed on the property by locals and researchers.
Another peculiarity of note is that Tecmo advertised the game in North America with the tagline: “Based on a true story,” but without on the original Japanese release. Because of this, some have theorized that the entire legend was fabricated by the game developers.
In conclusion, I have this to say:
Maybe there was a murder and all of this really happened, or maybe it’s somewhat more likely that it was made up by some creative game developers, but I don’t believe we’ll be finding out exactly what that truth is anytime soon .. so why not enjoy the legend of the Himuro Mansion for what it is? A good old fashioned, creepy urban legend
The Ghost of Xunantunich
Belize does not immediately come to mind when thinking of hot bed areas for ghostly activity, but in fact it has one of the more intriguing and long-lasting ghost stories I’ve run across in recent years. The ancient Mayan ruin of Xunantunich lies about 80 miles west of Belize City. The phenomena is so strongly associated with the area that the site itself is now named after the ghost, Xunantunich is mayan for “stone woman”.
Sightings of the stone woman begin in 1892 when several people living on the site saw a woman, dressed in white, ascending the stairs of the temple-pyramid at the site, known as “El Castillo”, and disappearing into a stone wall. The most notable feature is that she has glowing red eyes. In subsequent years, several other locals saw the ghost, and most recently a tour group from Canada seems to have spotted the lady, true to the previous accounts, shortly after sun down.
Beyond that, little is known. There are, however, interesting aspects of the haunting if looked at within the confines of ancient Mayan culture. Firstly, the site is very old. Xunantunich flourished between 200 AD and mostly died away around 900 AD, likely because of a devastating earthquake. The site was generally unknown and grown over until the 1890′s, so it seems likely that the stone woman is perhaps the ghost of an ancient Mayan woman ascending the stairs of El Castillo to be sacrificed, or connected in some way to the ritual, to appease the gods of the Maya.

If she is a Mayan from nearly two thousand years ago, it wouldn’t be surprising that she would ascend the temple stairs. Mayans were known for human sacrifice at the tops of their temples. Incidences of very strong emotion are often linked to the creation of a ghost, and I can think of few things that would be more emotional than a human sacrifice. In the end, we’ll never know, but if the paranormal enthusiast reader ever gets to the jungles of Belize, Xunantunich should be on the top of your list as places to visit.

Setiap hari selama dua minggu, suasana Pantai Hailam bagaikan pesta menuai kepah.
Seorang demi seorang kami sebelas beradik memujuk ayah. Kami turut mengajak ibu sama-sama menyertai operasi kami itu. Malangnya hati ayah tidak berupaya kami lembutkan. Biasanya ayah tidak begitu. Segala permintaan kami sedaya upaya dipenuhi walaupun kami bukan terdiri dari orang yang berada.
Kami akhirnya berputus asa.
Kami turut cemas apabila melihat Pak Su Kadir tercungap-cungap.
“Kenapa kau, Kadir?” tanya ayah.
Ibu menyuruh kami menurut saja larangan ayah.

Nicolas Cage purchases haunted house
Nicolas Cage purchases haunted house

Nicolas Cage (Born Nicholas Kim Coppola; January 7, 1964) is a popular American actor, film director, and producer. Cage bought a home in New Orleans, Louisiana which has him so spooked he refuses to sleep there, despite paying nearly $3.5 million (GBP1.9 million) for the estate.
Purchased in 2007, the Lalaurie Mansion is reportedly one of the most severely haunted houses in the U.S. (which Cage knew before the purchase).
Built in the 1830's, the house is right up the street from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's home. Cage says, "(It's) in the Vieux Carre - which is called the French Quarter. It's a very notorious house, it's a very famous house - meaning it's allegedly the most severely haunted house in the United States of America... that's what they tell me. So at any given moment, I have five or six ghosts surrounding the house, all looking up at this haunted temple, and I'm in there. "We'll (my family) come over and have dinner there but nobody sleeps there. I will sleep there, I will at some point - but I'll be alone when it happens... I try not to have a narrow mind about things." Cage insists he's respectful of his haunting guests. He adds: "(I've gotten) five or six requests from parapsychologists' groups to come into the house, and I won't let them in - because of respect. If there's something in there, I don't want them being exploited."
As for the hauntings, there were many reports of paranormal experiences between 1837 and 1932 in the house. In 1920, one resident reported: "There were no other families living here and one night, on the third floor, I saw a man walking carrying his head on his arm." In 1932, the house was being used as a furniture store, and it was reported that the owner "first suspected vandals when all of his merchandise was ruined several times, covered with a foul liquid filth. The owner waited one night with a shotgun, hoping to catch the vandals in the act. When dawn came, the furniture was once again ruined. He closed the place down shortly thereafter."
Actor Nick Cage has bought a landmark New Orleans French Quarter property right up the street from the new home of Brad Pitt and Angela Jolie according to the website Big Time Listings. The Lalaurie House in New Orleans has had a checkered past and according to Wikopedia is considered the most haunted property in all of New Orleans.
The Lalaurie Mansion is reported to be the sight of sadistic acts committed upon their household servants and slaves by Delphine LaLaurie in the 1830’s. These spirits have been haunting the property over the past 100 years according to local reports. The house being haunted may have been the attraction for him as he has previously bought another New Orleans property in the Garden District from noted horror writer Anne Rice.
Cage has also been spooked from a very early age. He once stayed in the attic of the home belonging to his uncle, Francis Ford Coppola. Now he refuses to stay there! The scary encounter happened when he was a child. He said: "I was living in the attic and one night there was this pitch-black silhouette of a woman with big hair. My body froze up, I screamed and then threw a pillow at it!"
